On 26 May, Blackpool owner Karl Oyston revealed that work would begin on the East Stand, which would complete the Bloomfield Road redevelopment, "as soon as is realistically possible".
Work commenced on the project on June 14, Blackpool had gained permission for a 17,600 all-seater stadium against the present capacity of 12,555.
But now strong rumours are going around Blackpool that an announcement next week will unveil the new east stand will have a capacity of 10,000 instead of the original propsed 5070.
And if rumours are to believed the new two tier stand will be the largest temporary stand in the country raising the capacity of the stadium to 22,000.
